PURPOSE AND WELCOME
Welcome to the webpage for the Klamath and Western Railroad located in Chiloquin, Oregon. We look forward to you joining us to observe our great hobby focusing on 7 ½” gauge large scale model railroad trains. The hobby provides great fun for the entire family and it’s our pleasure to introduce you to our hobby. We have static displays of railroad equipment for you to inspect and you’re invited to ride one of our trains the full experience.
Our qualified engineers and conductors are pleased to answer questions about the K&W or questions about railroads in general. Should you decide to join, we provide training for volunteer engineers, conductors, and other functions that keep our railroad running.
Just a short ride north from Klamath Falls on Highway 97. Turn left at South Chiloquin Road (in beautiful Chiloquin), go about 1/2 mile and look to your left. Plenty of free parking, with a large picnic area, lot’s of trees and plenty of fresh air.
